What is included in my weekly fee?
The weekly fee covers all care, nursing, meals, beverages, snacks (including select alcoholic drinks upon request), and physiotherapy sessions, based on pre-admission agreement. Additional physiotherapy or occupational therapy can be provided at extra cost.

Incontinence aids are included if required.

Participation in on-site activities is included, except for external events with an entry fee or when an escort is needed.

Laundry and room cleaning services are also included.
What personal belongs can I bring?
At Deen Care, we aim for everyone to feel that their stay is a "home from home." While all rooms are fully furnished, there is space for a personal piece of furniture, and you are welcome to bring items such as books, pictures, ornaments, and other cherished belongings. Each room includes a TV and direct dial telephone.
Can my family and friends visit?
We generally encourage visitors to come and go at their convenience. However, due to current guidelines set by the Local Public Health team to mitigate the risk of COVID transmission, we are required to adhere to these protocols. Our visitor policy can be found on our website.
How do I arrange a visit to view the Centre?
We understand that selecting a nursing or care home can be a challenging and emotional decision. The best way to experience the level of care and comfort provided at Deen Care Home is by meeting our staff and some of the residents. Can you accommodate my dietary requirements?
Our chef-led restaurant and room service meals are designed to provide you with a nutritious, well-balanced diet, catering to various preferences such as vegetarian, pescatarian, halal, and vegan. Additionally, we can accommodate most other dietary needs. The catering team at Deen Care Home is highly flexible and dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your meals with us.
What meals are provided?
We provide a diverse range of culinary options, allowing clients to dine in any of our five dining rooms or enjoy meals in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms. All meals are nutritious and freshly prepared on-site. Our catering manager is available to discuss and tailor menu selections to suit your preferences. We offer an extensive hotel-style meal service, which includes:

- Breakfast: A full English or continental buffet, with tray service to your room upon request
- A chef-led, three-course lunch menu
- A chef-led, two-course supper menu
- Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day and night. We also offer alcoholic beverages with meals, and an evening drinks trolley visits each floor
What is provided for in the room?
Each of our rooms is equipped with purpose-built en-suite bathrooms and fully furnished for your comfort. Standard amenities include free Wi-Fi, direct dial telephone, and TV. We also provide all bed linen and towels. Toiletries are available upon request, with the cost added to your account, or you may choose to arrange these independently.
Are there lounges or areas for residents to socialise in?
Yes, we offer five suites, each featuring a private lounge and dining room where residents can socialize and build friendships. Additionally, we have smaller lobby areas where you can relax, read a newspaper, and enjoy a coffee and cake while watching the world go by.
Are there activities for residents to participate in?
Yes, we offer a broad variety of both indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting). Our activity team supports clients in maximizing their potential and, if desired, building relationships with both old and new friends. At Deen Care Home, we prioritize not only your health but also strive to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
Do you offer physiotherapy?
Yes, we have a dedicated physiotherapy gym equipped with specialized equipment to assist individuals with restricted movement or disabilities. Our in-house physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and a team of health professionals are committed to supporting your swift recovery, rehabilitation, or ongoing long-term healthcare needs.
Do you have an on-site hairdressing service?
Yes, we understand that something as simple as hair care and looking your best can significantly impact how you feel about yourself. For this reason, we have experienced visiting hairdressers who provide their services in our on-site hairdressing salon.
